The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that children should be evaluated by an orthodontist as early as age 7, even before all permanent teeth are erupted. Early orthodontic treatment may consist of palatal expanders, early braces, space maintainers and growth monitoring.
The early pre-teen to teen years are a great time to start full braces or Invisalign since all permanent teeth are erupted. Some patients may have already had a previous phase of treatment (Phase 1) and are ready for Phase 2, or some patients may just be starting treatment for the first time.
More adults are seeking orthodontic treatment now than ever before with Invisalign or braces. There are more cosmetic options available currently than in the past, and many of Dr. Gallagher's patients are adults of all ages.

Dr. Joosang Lee ventured into the dental field after completing his education in general dentistry at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Lee finds profound joy in the simple yet impactful act of helping people. His dedication to improving lives through dentistry is reflected in the warm and informative manner he engages with patients. Dr. Lee specializes in restorations, crowns, dentures and all aspects of general dentistry.
Dr. Soo Cho
Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Cho completed her DMD from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine School of Dental Medicine and received rigorous training for pediatric dentistry at Saint Louis University. As a pediatric dental specialist, Dr. Cho is committed to delivering top-tier dental care to young patients. Her patients are lucky to have her as their first dentist!
Dr. Won Heo
Orthodontist
Dr. Won graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a dental degree. During dental school, Dr. Won found joy in correcting alignment and malocclusion to give beautiful smiles to patients. Dr. Won subsequently received orthodontic training at Saint Louis University and is a board-certified orthodontist.
Dr. Paul Kim
Oral Surgeon
Dr. Kim attended dental school at the University of Pennsylvania, ranking in the top 10 of his graduating class. Dr. Kim earned his certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Indiana University. Dr. Kim specializes in implant surgery, general sedation, maxillofacial trauma, pre-prosthethic surgery, and orthognathic surgery.
